Greetings!

Are you in the polar research community and interested in learning about career pathways outside of the classically discussed route of tenure-track academia? Join us online for a panel discussion exploring ‘Polar Careers Outside Academia’ on Thursday, August 7, 2025, beginning at 8 am AKT | 10 am MT | 12 pm ET! The Polar Science Early Career Community Office (PSECCO) will be bringing together four panelists to discuss their varied career pathways and to answer questions about their experiences in working outside of academia. To learn more about the event, register for the panel, and submit questions to be considered by panelists at this event visit this registration page.

We hope to see you there!

Kind regards,
Mariama
