Research Interests
Dr. Andrew Klein is a geographer applying remote sensing and Geographic Information Science (GISci) techniques to study the cryosphere. He has studied the environmental impact of science and operations in proximity to McMurdo and Palmer Stations, Antarctica. He has also been part of an interdisciplinary team studying the relationship between macroalgal cover and sea ice concentrations along the central portion of the Western Antarctic Peninsula.
