On April 17-19, 2024, we will convene an NSF-sponsored workshop on Observing the Dynamics of the Southern Ocean: Present Challenges and Future Strategies at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego, California. At this meeting, we will facilitate discussion on opportunities and priorities for future US-led observational efforts across the Southern Ocean and Antarctic margins.
