After many successful years of leading the education and public outreach program for the Ice Drilling Program Office (IDPO) https://icedrill.org/about, Lind Morris has retired to spend more time with her family and growing flock of grandchildren. Starting with an empty slate, Linda invented successful, high-impact IDPO educational outreach programs featuring scientists from the ice coring and drilling community. Please join me in welcoming Louise Huffman, the new Director of Education and Public Outreach for IDPO. Many of you might recognize that Louise is no stranger to polar science! Linda and Louise have worked together to ensure a seamless transition for IDPO.
