Antarctic Environments Portal - Join the Editorial Board

Dear colleagues, 

The Antarctic Environments Portal (AEP) is looking to renew its Editorial Board. 

The Editorial Board supports the AEP Editor in overseeing the review process of Information Summaries and ensuring information available through the Portal is accurate, apolitical and up-to-date. Members of the Editorial Board are asked to review Information Summaries usually aligned with their area of expertise, two to three times a year. 

If you meet the following criteria, we would love to hear from you:

1. Experience writing or reviewing summaries on Antarctic science;
2. Experience communicating complex concepts to a non-scientific, especially policy-making, audience;
3. Knowledge in at least one of the Antarctic Environments Portal themes:
   • Marine
   • Human Activities
   • Terrestrial
   • Cryosphere
   • Inland aquatic environments
   • Atmosphere
   • General policy and/or communications expertise.
4. Interest in being more involved in the science-policy interface of Antarctic science. 

Applications from Early Career Researchers (ECRs), women, and developing nations are encouraged. Do not hesitate to share with colleagues.
