Research Interests
Paul Mayewski is a glaciologist and climate scientist with extensive field experience throughout Antarctica. He founded and led the International Trans Antarctic Scientific Expeditions (ITASE) and many other smaller traverse and ice coring projects. His research addresses past, modern and future climate and changes in the chemistry of the atmosphere over the Antarctic and other polar and remote regions.
