Research Interests
Michael Gooseff focuses on hydrology, glaciers, and biogeochemical cycling in the McMurdo Dry Valleys. He has been a student, CoPI, and lead PI on the McMurdo Dry Valley Long Term Ecological Research Project since 1998. He is responsible for running a network of 17 stream gages in the dry valleys, including the two on the Onyx River which were established by New Zealand scientists in the late 1960s.
