Research Interests
Lauren Simkins is a glacial geologist with research experience in Antarctica and formerly glaciated landscapes across the globe. Based on geophysical, remote sensing, and sedimentological data, Lauren uses qualitative, semi-quantitative, and quantitative methods from field observations both onshore and offshore, laboratory measurements, and publicly available datasets to understand glacier and ice sheet sensitivity to a variety of processes and conditions.
