Joe Souney is a project manager at the Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans and Space at the University of New Hampshire. He was a member of the WAIS Divide ice core science coordination office, the South Pole ice core science coordination office, and is currently working on the Hercules Dome ice core project. He is also the Science Director for the Science Management Office of the NSF-Ice Core Facility (https://icecores.org/) and co-PI and Director of Digital Communications for the U.S. Ice Drilling Program (https://icedrill.org/).
