Research Interests
Dr. Frances Rivera-Hernández is a planetary geologist who studies sedimentary deposits and landforms on Earth and Mars to interpret present and past planetary surface conditions and habitability. Her Antarctic research has focused on studying modern and ancient lake deposits and processes in the McMurdo Dry Valleys.
