Research Interests
Dulcinea Groff is a paleoecologist and paleoenvironmental scientist focused on Holocene studies of plant, animal, and climate interactions in the northern Antarctic Peninsula. She uses various tools and temporal scales such as sedimentary records to observational data to understand environmental change over centennial to decadal scales. This research addresses key questions related to ongoing shifts in climate and the response of plant and animal communities in low elevation coastal ecosystems of the northern Antarctic Peninsula.
