Research Interests
Deneb Karentz is a marine biologist with research interests in phytoplankton ecology and physiology. Her work has focused on species-specific responses related to the effects of ozone depletion and increased exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UVR). She is also interested in phytoplankton species succession during the winter-spring transition in coastal areas.
