Research Interests
Cosmin Deaconu is a particle astrophysicist who builds and analyzes data from detectors looking for radio emission from cosmic particles interacting in glacial ice. In Antarctica, Cosmin is involved with balloon (ANITA, PUEO) and in-ice neutrino experiments (ARA, IceCube Gen2Radio) as well as the future CMB S4 cosmology telescope.
