Research Interests
Allison is a phytoplankton ecologist and biological oceanographer with an expertise in phytoplankton and polar fjord ecosystems. Her work involves field sampling campaigns in partnership with the IAATO tour industry, through the framework of citizen science program called FjordPhyto using genomic and remote sensing analysis to investigate the response of phytoplankton communities to melting glaciers.
